Created by Russian Post and Skolkovo Capital, the BAS Consortium plans to test heavy drones for the needs of agriculture. To do this, it is necessary to establish an experimental legal regime (EPR), follows from the document that Vedomosti has at its disposal. Denis Baryshnikov, General Director of the BAS Consortium, confirmed the authenticity of the EPR Program in the field of digital innovations for the operation of unmanned aerial systems, noting that the application is being approved by the Ministry of Economic Development.
The representative of the department confirmed the receipt of the documents of the BAS Consortium, specifying that they are considered on a “priority basis”. According to him, in the near future the draft program will be sent for approval to the relevant departments and administrations of the regions in whose territory it is planned to install the EPR. There will be seven such regions: Krasnodar and Altai Territories, Rostov, Belgorod, Samara and Novosibirsk Regions, as well as Tatarstan.
