A Russian naval aviation plane shot down a Ukrainian drone over the Black Sea, reported Russian Defense Ministry in its Telegram channel.
“Today, at around 12:00, an attempt by the Kyiv regime to carry out a terrorist attack with one aircraft-type UAV against objects on the territory of the Russian Federation was thwarted. The unmanned aerial vehicle was destroyed by a naval aviation aircraft over the Black Sea,” the report says.
Yesterday, August 28, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported about the interception at 11:30 a.m. of a Ukrainian cruise missile off the coast of Crimea. About an hour earlier, air defense forces shot down two Ukrainian aircraft-type drones.
On the night of August 12, the Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked the Crimea with drones, 14 devices were destroyed by air defense systems, the rest were destroyed by means of electronic warfare. There were no casualties or damage as a result of the attack. Later that day, Kyiv attempted to strike the Crimean Bridge with an S-200 anti-aircraft guided missile converted into a strike variant.
In Crimea, the “yellow” (high) level of terrorist threat is now indefinitely valid. The power departments of the republic have strengthened control over the movement of vehicles across the borders of Crimea and organized the inspection of cars using weapons and explosives detection tools. There are three levels of terrorist danger: “blue” (increased), “yellow” (high) and “red” (critical).
