In Buryatia, the head of the Bichursky district, suspected of drunk driving, said he was poisoned by tea. Baza writes about this in the Telegram channel.

On August 16, employees of the State traffic inspectorate stopped the wobbling car of official Smolin. At the time of the inspection, he did not undergo an examination.

According to him, on that day he was invited to an unofficial celebration for the Day of Athlete in Nature. As Smolin noted, they really offered him a drink there, but he refused, because he came here by car. Out of courtesy, the official took the tea, which had a strange taste.

Then the head of the Bichur district was detained by traffic police on the way home. After long conversations, Smolin was taken to the Central District Hospital (CRH), where he nevertheless underwent a medical examination.

However, the official hinted that it would be better to take the tests again in Ulan-Ude. According to Smolin, he got the drink before voting in the upcoming elections. The chief physician of the Central District Hospital is also a candidate for them, the official concluded.
