Russian MP Antov died in India

Pavel Antov, Chairman of the Committee on Agrarian Policy, Nature Management and Ecology of the Legislative Assembly of the Vladimir Region, has died at the age of 65, Vyacheslav Kartukhin, Vice Speaker of the Regional Parliament, reports on his Telegram channel.
According to Kartukhin, Antov died in India when he was on vacation. Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Vladimir Kiselev said that Antov was valued for his professionalism and personal qualities – delicacy, intelligence, respect for everyone. Antov, Kiselev said, was a man with a broad outlook and erudition.
“For the Legislative Assembly, for the entire Vladimir Region, the death of Pavel Genrikhovich Antov is a heavy and irreparable loss,” reads Kiselyov’s appeal on the website of the Parliament of the Vladimir Region.
Pavel Antov was the founder of the alliance of companies “Vladimir Standard”, which has become one of the most significant industries in the region. Antov is also known as a major philanthropist, public figure, traveler, member of international organizations and friendship societies.
