“Caution, news”: a lumberjack from the Moscow region was accused of treason after being arrested for petty hooliganism
Telegram channel “Caution, news” reportsthat in the Moscow region a court is considering a complaint against a local resident’s conviction in a treason case.
According to the channel, in June last year, a 38-year-old man was detained in the center of Tambov for waving his arms and using obscene language, according to a police report.
“The man was arrested for three days,” the report says, “after which he was accused of attempted treason.”
It is unknown what exactly the citizen is charged with; the details of the case are classified. However, “the investigation into the case took only a few months,” notes “Caution, News.” It is reported that already in September the man was transported to the Moscow region for trial, which found him guilty before the New Year. According to the channel, an appeal has been filed against the verdict.
In October it became known about arrest of a tractor driver from the Belgorod region, who, according to media reports, was accused of intending to fight on the side of Ukraine.
