Kokushkin received a sentence for beating a teenager who teased him because of his last name

The Chkalovsky District Court sentenced Pavel Kokushkin to four years in prison for beating a 12-year-old boy. The prosecutor’s office of the Sverdlovsk region reported this.

In May 2023, Kokushkin beat a child for teasing him because of his last name. The man and the injured boy attended the same rock climbing class. At that moment, the teenager was in the company of friends, and they all decided to make fun of Pavel’s last name. The man could not stand it and hit the child several times with his fists on the head, with his palm on the back of the head and with his feet on the torso. As a result of the beating, the boy’s spleen was ruptured.

Pavel Kokushkin was charged under Article 111 “Intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm.” He will serve a four-year sentence in a general regime correctional colony. Kokushkin was also ordered to pay compensation to the victim in the amount of 700 thousand rubles.
