Russian journalist deprived of parental rights after the murder of her husband

The court of the city of Anapa has deprived the parental rights of the former journalist of Vedomosti and RBC Oksana Goncharova accused of murdering her common-law husband Alexei Samusev. About it says in the defense message.
The woman has two sons from Alexei Samusev, four and eleven years old. According to the court decision, now she will have to pay alimony to the current guardian of underage boys. The lawsuit for the deprivation of Goncharova’s parental rights was filed by the brother of the murdered Pyotr Samusev. As a result, he issued guardianship over the sons of the former journalist. Oksana Goncharova’s lawyer Yunis Digmar has already announced that he will appeal the court’s decision.
The former journalist has been in a pre-trial detention center on charges of premeditated murder (Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, the punishment is imprisonment for a term of six to 15 years) since the end of September 2020. Eunice Digmar claims that Goncharova committed the murder unintentionally, but in self-defense. The lawyer insists that the civil husband of the ward Alexei Samusev beat the woman for 15 years. According to Goncharova’s testimony, on September 26, 2020, she tried to defend herself against this man, who came home drunk. A conflict arose between them, during which Samusev grabbed the scissors. The woman intercepted the blow that was supposed to go to her, and as a result, the scissors hit the body of a common-law husband. However, he found the strength to leave the apartment, and the next day he died. Goncharova herself said that she tried more than once to get away from her common-law husband, but he threatened her and intimidated her with the fact that it could harm children.
Formerly MK informedthat a resident of Sasov, Ryazan region, will be tried for the murder of a roommate. According to the investigation, on November 12, 2022, a conflict occurred between the couple, during which the accused stabbed the man in the neck, from which the victim died.
