From June 1, Russian Green Cards will no longer be valid in the EU, Great Britain and Switzerland.
It is clarified that after that, in order to move around the indicated territories in cars that are registered in Russia, drivers will need to purchase a border insurance policy of the corresponding country. You can do this at checkpoints.
According to the Russian Union of Motor Insurers, from the first of June of this year, the bilateral agreements concluded by the PCA with the bureaus and unions of motor insurers of the countries belonging to the European Union, as well as Great Britain and Switzerland, are terminated.
