Russian-Indian “Brahmos” is ready to supply missiles to the Russian army

Alexander Maksichev, co-director of the Russian-Indian defense enterprise Brahmos, said that it was ready to fulfill an order from the Russian army for the supply of missiles, if any. Now Brahmos is implementing its first export contract for the supply of supersonic cruise missiles to the Philippines.
“We are ready to fulfill such an order. In today’s conditions, the Brahmos missiles would be very useful to the Russian army,” said the co-director of the enterprise “RIA News”. He explained that the Philippine contract “Brahmos” must be implemented in four years, under the contract, the company also trains Philippine officers.
One of the main Brahmos missile models, the PJ-10 BrahMos, was developed in 1998. Its base model is the Soviet P-800 Oniks missile, developed in the 1970s. The portfolio of orders for Brahmos missiles is almost $6.5 billion.
