Russian Dunaev pleaded guilty in a cyber fraud case in the United States

38-year-old Vladimir Dunaev from Yakutsk pleaded guilty in the case of cyber fraud, TASS reports.
The report says that Dunaev admitted guilt on two counts at once.
He was arrested in the spring of 2021 in South Korea, and six months later handed over to American authorities. According to American investigators, from November 2015 to August 2020, Dunaev was involved in theft of money and confidential information. He is also accused of having ties to a transnational criminal organization that once developed and distributed the malicious Trickbot.
It was previously reported that Dunaev faces 60 years in prison.
