Russian diver Povzner received Canadian sports citizenship
The International Swimming Federation reported that diver Viktor Povzner, who competed for the Russian team at the 2021 European Championships, has received Canadian sports citizenship.
It is clarified that the athlete will now represent Canada at all international tournaments.
An employee of the World Aquatics press service added that the International Swimming Federation has already approved the change of citizenship for Viktor Povzner to Canadian. This happened on February 13 of this year.
