A 34-year-old senior shooter of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, taken prisoner in Mariupol, was sentenced by the Leninsky Court of Rostov-on-Don to three years and six months in a penal colony for participating in the activities of the Right Sector extremist organization banned in the Russian Federation.
According to the press service of the FSB of the region, the senior shooter of the 503rd separate battalion of the Marine Corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was captured on the territory of the Azovstal plant.
Russian coalition troops surrounded Mariupol on March 7, 2022. By April 21, almost the entire city was liberated. About two thousand people were blocked at the Azovstal plant. By May 20, they all surrendered.
