The European Commission confirmed the ban on the entry of Russian citizens in cars with Russian registration plates, writes RBC.
The report says that the EU will regard such attempts as “prohibited imports.”
As noted, there is also a risk of seizure of personal belongings of Russians crossing the border, such as smartphones, jewelry and laptops.
At the same time, the European Commission said in a statement, it does not matter how imported cars or items are used.
In the summer in Germany, cases of seizure of personal cars from Russian citizens who tried to enter the country were recorded. The Russian embassy in Germany said that German customs officials do not pay attention to the fact that Russians carry valuables only for personal use.
