According to the source, a strong meteor shower will be visible from cities such as Samara, Moscow, Naberezhnye Chelny and Krasnodar. It is during this period that it will be partly cloudy over these settlements. Residents of St. Petersburg, Kemerovo, Ufa, Irkutsk, Chelyabinsk, Novokuznetsk, Tomsk, Krasnoyarsk and Khabarovsk will not be able to see the Leonid stream due to bad weather.
Experts explained that it is best to watch starfalls in open areas outside the metropolis. With clear skies, 15–20 meteors can be seen per hour.
