Arina Irgit, a student of Lyceum No. 15 and the Kyzyl Additional Education Center, won the Russian Chess Cup among participants under 15 years old. The competition took place in Yaroslavl. Arina’s opponents were the strongest young chess players from all regions of the country.
Coach Sergei Tyulush said that his ward performed brilliantly thanks to her hard work. Now the young chess player is preparing for the World or Asian Championships in 2024.
