Compared to last year, the number of pensioners of retirement age increased by 9% over the same period. Experts explained that in this way banks expand the pool of their customers, and borrowers get the opportunity to reduce mortgage payments. Aleksey Novikov, Director of the Est-a-Tet Mortgage Lending Department, emphasized that there are two age groups in the main pool of borrowers in large banks – from 25 to 40 years old and from 45 to 60 years old.
