Russia told the UN Security Council about the suppression of dozens of terrorist attacks in Ukraine

Ukrainian special services regularly make attempts to commit terrorist acts on the territory of Russia, Russian special services prevent them by dozens, if not hundreds. This statement was made on Monday, July 31, by Dmitry Polyansky, First Deputy Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the UN.

The diplomat spoke at a meeting of the Security Council of the world organization, initiated by Moscow in connection with the systematic use of terrorist methods by the Kyiv regime. The permanent mission of the Russian Federation stressed that this is a factor aggravating the crisis around Ukraine.

As a speaker, Russia asked for a well-known activist and coordinator of the “Immortal Regiment” in Estonia, Sergei Chaulin. He was in a cafe in St. Petersburg in April at the time of the explosion, which killed the military commander Vladlen Tatarsky, and was himself injured.

Polyansky during his speech stressed that “the Kiev regime is attacking not so much the Russian military infrastructure, warehouses, fuel storage facilities as peaceful cities and facilities sometimes thousands of kilometers from the combat zone.”

Earlier, Kremlin speaker Dmitry Peskov pointed out that, unable to change the situation at the front, Kyiv resorted to acts of desperation, using terrorist strike tactics for civil and social purposes. The official called it disgusting and stressed that in response, all possible measures are being taken to organize the protection of civilian infrastructure.
