Russia to allocate 10.5 billion rubles to support refugees from Donbass and Ukraine in 2022

The Russian government has prepared all the documents for social payments to refugees from the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, as well as Ukraine, said Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin. According to him, 10.5 billion rubles will be allocated to help them this year.
“On behalf of the president, the government has prepared all the documents that are needed for social assistance to citizens who were forced to leave the Donetsk and Lugansk people’s republics, Ukraine, as well as stateless persons who arrived in Russia,” the prime minister said at a government meeting. “We will allocate about 10.5 billion rubles to solve this problem this year,” he said.
Payment procedure defined Decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin dated August 27. Payments are made until December 31, 2022.

- disabled people of group I, disabled children and persons over 80 years old will receive additional payments in the amount of 3 thousand rubles;
- veterans of the Great Patriotic War will receive payments in the amount of 5 thousand rubles;
- pregnant women will receive a one-time payment of 10,000 rubles;
- at the birth of a child, a lump sum payment of 20 thousand rubles;
- for children under the age of 18 years, a lump sum of 4 thousand rubles will be paid, if the child is under guardianship – 15 thousand rubles, for each child under the age of 23 who is studying full-time – 4 thousand rubles;
August 19 source TASS in law enforcement agencies said that more than 3.5 million refugees had arrived in Russia from the territory of Donbass and Ukraine since February. At that time, 6.5 billion rubles were paid to them as a one-time financial aid.
