Russia ranked 84th in the world in terms of the quality of its healthcare system in 2023, according to the updated Legatum Prosperity Index (Health category).
Health status was assessed on a 100-point scale. The rating assesses how healthy the country’s residents are and have access to the necessary services to maintain health, as well as indicators such as mortality, risk factors, and others.
The top three are Singapore, Japan and South Korea. The last five places are occupied by Somalia, Lesotho, Chad, South Sudan and the Central African Republic.
