Russia plans to introduce nanny training

The State Duma of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Labor came to the conclusion that it is necessary to introduce a training module for training nannies in Russian educational institutions. Izvestia writes about this.

One of the main arguments in favor of introducing this module is that a significant part of child-rearing services today finds himself in the shadows. This means that many nannies work without proper education and training, which can have a negative impact on the safety and development of children.

The authorities propose to develop special courses to train people in this profession. Training may include topics such as basic child psychology, safety, health and hygiene, child development, teaching techniques and much more.

The authors of the proposal are confident that the training of nannies should be comprehensive and include both theoretical and practical parts. Practical training can be carried out through internships in kindergartens or families, where nannies will be able to apply the acquired knowledge in practice under the guidance of experienced specialists.

Specialists who have completed training in this module will have a better chance of getting work in official child care institutions and families, and will also be able to improve their qualifications and qualify for higher fees.
