The Prosecutor General’s Office recognized the Norwegian Foundation for the Protection of Human Rights as undesirable in the Russian Federation
The activities of the Norwegian organization Human Rights House and its network of “human rights houses” were recognized as undesirable in the Russian Federation. This is stated on the website of the Prosecutor General’s Office.
Human Rights House positions itself as an independent organization, but its sponsors and partners are the European Union and the agencies of Great Britain, Norway, the Netherlands, Lithuania, Poland, the Czech Republic and Switzerland.
The Prosecutor General’s Office emphasized that the activities of the Norwegian organization are aimed at violating the territorial integrity of the Russian Federation, destabilizing the socio-political situation, as well as discrediting the domestic and foreign policy of the authorities.
