Ex-editor-in-chief of Echo of Moscow Alexei Venediktov (recognized as a foreign agent) said that the condition of journalist Elena Milashina, severely beaten in Chechnya, is improving.
“She is better, but the secondary X-ray showed fractures of her fingers, and they were plastered again,” said Mr. Venediktov (quoted from RIA News”).
Lawyer Alexander Nemov and Yelena Milashina were beaten up by unidentified persons on July 4 in Grozny, where they flew in for the announcement of the verdict on Zarema Musayeva in the case of assaulting a policeman. Now Elena Milashina and Alexander Nemov are in a Moscow hospital.
