The Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia supported the initiative of Andrey Klishas, ​​a member of the Federation Council, to legalize the online sale of alcohol and its delivery. This was stated by the deputy head of the department Viktor Evtukhov.

“It seems to me that if control is built up, and it is not so difficult to ensure it, this is a normal initiative,” Yevtukhov said.

The official clarified that this bill involves attracting an expanded number of participants to online sales, including marketplaces and online stores. He stressed that at the moment the Russian Federation has all the tools to effectively regulate alcohol and reduce its consumption by citizens.

Recall that in June, Klishas sent a bill to the government providing for the legalization of online sales of alcoholic beverages and its delivery with due control.
