Rospotrebnadzor has canceled the standards for covering the population with testing for coronavirus infection. The corresponding resolution, signed by the head of the department Anna Popova, was published on the official portal of legal acts. The document refers to the invalidation of paragraphs of Resolution No. 31 of the Chief Sanitary Doctor of the Russian Federation of October 16, 2020, which regulated additional measures “to reduce the risks of the spread of COVID-19 during the seasonal rise in the incidence of acute respiratory viral infections and influenza.” Earlier, Rospotrebnadzor also recommended taking tests from citizens for coronavirus infection, given the activity of the epidemic process in each particular region. A three-level testing system was introduced: in regions with a high level, it was recommended to conduct at least 300 tests per 100,000 population, in regions with an average level, at least 200 tests per 100,000, and with a low level, at least 150 per 100,000. Now this standard has been cancelled. According to the Stopcoronavirus.rf official portal, during the week from June 19 to June 25, 5.7 thousand citizens with COVID-19 were detected in Russia. At the same time, 1.7 thousand people were hospitalized, 7.3 thousand citizens recovered.
