Russia and Myanmar will hold the first-ever joint naval exercises. The opening ceremony will be attended by the Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy, Admiral Nikolai Evmenov, who arrived in the country on a working visit. About it reports Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
The report notes that one of the most important goals of the trip will be strengthening naval cooperation between Russia and Myanmar.
September 26 Ministry of Defense reported about the start of international anti-terrorism exercises in Primorye. Joint actions within the framework of the anti-terrorist operation were practiced, including with the military contingent from Myanmar. The exercise was conducted to strengthen and promote regional cooperation in the field of counter-terrorism, as well as to improve interaction among ASEAN countries.
