Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin dismissed the former head of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) from the post of his assistant. The order was published on the official Internet portal legal information. Mr. Artemyev himself asked for his resignation.

Igor Artemyev headed the FAS from 2004 to 2020, after which he was appointed assistant to the prime minister. Mr. Artemyev is a member of the federal political committee of the Yabloko party.
