Russia and China will jointly study the Earth’s moon satellite. The relevant agreement has already been signed. This was stated by the head of Roskosmos Yuri Borisov.
As stated in the intergovernmental agreement, Russia and China will jointly build a station to study the moon.
In March 2021, the Russian Federation and China signed a memorandum of understanding on the creation of the International Scientific Lunar Station. In December 2020, Russian Cabinet Minister Mikhail Mishustin said that the intergovernmental agreement between Russia and China on the creation of the station was ready for signature.
And today, on December 20, it became known that the signatures in the document have been put. Borisov on the air of the TV channel “Russia 24” called it the transition to the “next phase” of cooperation with the Celestial Empire in space exploration.
