Towards the end of the New Year holidays, two prominent representatives of United Russia entered into an absentee dispute on a topical issue. First, State Duma deputy Oleg Morozov, through his Telegram channel, complained that some lawyers, referring to the Constitution, forbid depriving Russians of citizenship who had gone abroad and criticized the country, and suggested considering the possibility of depriving such fellow citizens of the right to enter Russia. In response, Senator Andrei Klishas recommended that politicians who call for disregard for the Basic Law leave the constitutional authorities.
