RPL did not allow Spartak to play at home due to the quality of the field

The stadium of the Spartak football club (Moscow) is not ready to host the home match of the Russian Football Championship with Fakel Voronezh, the press service of the Russian Premier League (RPL) reports.

The RPL Commission assessed the quality and came to the conclusion that the Lukoil Arena football field does not comply with the RPL World regulations and the RFU Standards. A decision was made to temporarily suspend football matches.

The club must inform the league by March 1 about the location of the 20th round match with Fakel from Voronezh. The meeting itself is scheduled for March 10.
