SKA head coach Roman Rotenberg spoke in his Telegram channel about the origin of the SKA Arena ice. For the hockey rink, which opened in December 2023, the ice was taken from the North Pole and the Vostok polar station in Antarctica.
The management of the SKA Arena received ice from the Arctic and Antarctic Research Institute. They presented the arena with several pieces of unique ice.
Previously, the ice in the arena also praised by the player SKA Stepan Falkovsky told MK in St. Petersburg.
