In Tatarstan, over two million people constantly go in for sports, this is 62.8 percent of the total population from 3 to 75 years old (without contraindications to exercise), Deputy Minister of Sports of the Republic Almaz Khusainov said in the Public Chamber of the Republic of Tatarstan when discussing the results.
Over the year, the growth is almost five percent, this can be considered a good result.
Many sporting events and competitions in the republic helped to achieve these results.
For 2023, a goal was publicly formed for the Ministry of Sports of the Republic of Tatarstan – to increase the share of those systematically involved in physical education and sports from 55.5% to 57%.
