Russians who have not received a summons from the military commissariat can travel abroad, said Zarina Doguzova, head of Rostourism. She added that for clarifications, citizens can contact the military registration and enlistment office to which they are assigned.
“Based on the information that we have at the moment, if you have not received a summons, then you can go on trips. We have no information about any restrictive regulations at the federal level,” Ms. Doguzova wrote in Telegram.
President Vladimir Putin announced in Russia, partial mobilization from 21 September. Andrei Kartapolov, head of the State Duma Defense Committee, argued that there were no additional restrictions on the departure of reservists from the country. In less than a day, citizens bought all the air tickets to Dubai, Yerevan, Astana and Istanbul for the next few days.
