The incidence of SARS and influenza decreased by 29.3% over the week, according to the website of Rospotrebnadzor. Among respiratory viruses, influenza viruses (81.3%) and, in particular, swine flu (60.8%) still predominate.
“In the 52nd week of 2022 (December 26, 2022 – January 1, 2023) in the Russian Federation, there is a decrease in the total incidence of influenza and acute respiratory viral infections (ARVI) by 29.3% compared to the previous week,” says on site departments.
Head of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova warnedthat swine flu can cause “very serious” complications. On December 27, Rospotrebnadzor reported that swine flu revealed in all Russian regions.
