Muscovites are advised to wear masks in public places due to the increase in the incidence of influenza and SARS. This was reported in the capital’s Rospotrebnadzor.
“Moscow residents are advised to wear masks in public places due to the rise in the incidence of influenza and SARS,” the report says.
According to the agency, over the past week, the incidence of these infections in Russia has increased by 16%. Also identified cases of swine flu, which is recorded in 86 Russian regions.
As of today, 76 million Russians have been vaccinated against the flu.
It is noted that most often (about 70%) suffer from influenza viruses, of which the most common is just H1N1 – swine flu.
