Rospotrebnadzor sees no reason to introduce additional anti-epidemic measures in schools, said the head of the department Anna Popova at a conference call with the heads of regional departments, reported on the website of the department.

She noted that the territorial divisions of the supervisory authority should strictly monitor compliance with previously adopted requirements and that, first of all, attention should be paid to the readiness for catering in educational institutions.

In Russia, the incidence of covid has been growing since mid-July, and in recent days the number of detected infections with this virus has reached 20-30 thousand daily, which has not been noted since March. At the same time, the proportion of hospitalized patients remains relatively low: over the past day, 30.9 thousand infected people have been identified, and only 4 thousand people have been sent to hospitals.

Mortality also remains at a low level, more than 100 deaths per day have not been recorded since May, in recent days, 50-60 people have died from covid in the country.
