Citizens of the Russian Federation who have not been vaccinated against coronavirus and are returning to the country from abroad may not take a PCR test for COVID-19. The corresponding decision was made by the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare.
Earlier, Russians returning to the country had to pass a PCR test for coronavirus within 3 days. Now this is not required. However, Rospotrebnadzor is expanding the practice of selective testing to all checkpoints across the state border.
Recall that on July 1, 2022, Rospotrebnadzor lifted all restrictions related to the coronavirus pandemic. Passing a PCR test for coronavirus when entering the country for vaccinated Russians was canceled even earlier, from April 1, 2022.
