The risk of bringing plague into the Russian Federation is minimal, Rospotrebnadzor has strengthened sanitary and quarantine control at border crossing points. This was announced on Monday, August 14, in the press service of the department.
So Rospotrebnadzor commented on reports of the detection of three cases of this disease in northern China.

In our country, the last case of bubonic plague was in 2017, with isolated cases, an epidemic can not be expected, the scientist said, but the best protection against an infectious disease he called preventionconducted by Rospotrebnadzor and the Ministry of Health.
Rospotrebnadzor emphasized that even after the registration of cases of plague in Mongolia, after eating marmot meat, the risks for Russians are practically excluded: the patient and those at risk of infection, were promptly isolated.
