A total of 24 cans of caviar from different manufacturers were checked for 37 quality and safety indicators, including packaged and loose products.

Experts have identified E. coli in several brands, such as Kamchatka Sea, Meridian, Vostochny Bereg, Sakhalin Fish, Royal Black, Moscow Fish Factory, Forward-S and Lenta.

Violations of microbiological contamination were found in several brands, such as Korsakov, Lenta, Krasnoe Zoloto, Forward-S, Avacha, as well as in products purchased by weight at the Danilovsky market in Moscow. However, prohibited preservatives and dyes not declared on the label were not found on the products.
