After receiving the notification, telecom operators will have 224 days to connect to the Anti-Fraud call blocking system. This was announced by the director of the Center for Monitoring and Control of the Public Communications Network, subordinated to Roskomnadzor, Sergey Khutortsev.
“In all regions, knots will be placed throughout the year. As soon as they are installed in a particular region, notifications will be sent to operators. Operators are given 224 days to connect to the node after receiving the notification,” he explained (quote according to TASS).
Khutortsev specified that during this period the company will have to rebuild the system, provide a secure data transmission channel and install software. According to him, thanks to the system, the operator will be able to verify the number in 500 milliseconds.

In February, Khutortsev saidthat the Antifraud system will be fully operational in Russia by the end of 2023 or in the first quarter of next year.
