Subordinated to Roskomnadzor, the Main Radio Frequency Center (GRFC) in December 2022 launched a unified platform for verifying telephone calls (EPVV) “Antifraud”. It is needed to combat telephone fraud. This was told to Vedomosti by a source close to one of the operators. The representative of the GRFC confirmed the information about the launch of the EVVV. Now three large mobile operators are connected to the system – MegaFon, MTS and VimpelCom, he added. But the problem with replacement numbers will be solved only when all telecom operators connect to the system, the SCRC indicates.
The representative of the GRFC did not answer questions about the price of connecting to the operator’s platform and the cost of developing a solution.
