In addition to CBO, another popular topic was the protection of personal data. The department received 27,212 appeals from citizens, the RNC specified. Also, 15,799 appeals related to the control (supervisory) activities of Roskomnadzor in the field of communications – the regulator received 4,179 appeals on this topic. “In addition to the appeals that citizens sent to Roskomnadzor personally, a significant part of them were redirected from various government agencies. The total number of applications received by the central office of the Service from government agencies exceeded 8.8 thousand,” the RNC added.
