Roskachestvo will check toy Cheburashkas

Toys in the form of Cheburashkas will pass a quality check similar to the one that was carried out in relation to plush Huggi Waggi. The audit is related to complaints about the quality of toys coming from buyers.

After a phenomenal success In Dmitry Dyachenko’s film “Cheburashka”, the demand for toys in the form of this cute character, invented by the writer Eduard Uspensky, has grown significantly. At the same time, negative reviews about toys purchased on marketplaces began to appear on the Web more and more often. And Roskachestvo began to receive complaints about the quality of toy Cheburashkas.

“Among the key consumer concerns are the use of low-quality materials (the toy quickly breaks and wears out), an unpleasant “chemical” smell, and manufacturing defects. At the same time, some toys are quite expensive, ”- reported in Roskachestvo.

Specialists of the national quality monitoring system will conduct laboratory tests of toys in the form of Cheburashka, which include, among other things, studies on the release of harmful chemicals, toxicity, microbiological indicators, strength, color fastness. The sellers will check the availability of certificates of conformity and the validity of pricing.

“The purchase of Cheburashki will take place both on marketplaces and offline channels, including supermarkets, specialized stores for children and small points of sale,” said Elena Saratseva, Deputy Head of Roskachestvo.

In the meantime, experts are checking the quality of toy Cheburashkas on the Russian market, when choosing a toy for a child, you should follow the recommendations of the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare (Rospotrebnadzor).

Thus, a toy must necessarily have a label on which its name, country of production, location of the manufacturer and its trademark, the minimum age from which you can use the toy, how to care for the toy, the date of manufacture, service life and storage conditions are indicated in Russian. In addition, on the labels of toys for children under 3 years old, the manufacturer must indicate the main materials from which they are made. The presence of the EAC mark on the label can also serve as confirmation of the quality and safety of the toy.

When choosing a soft toy in a store, you need to check that the pile of the material from which it is made is dense and well stitched, and that the filler does not contain hard or sharp foreign objects.

In addition, if the toy has a persistent unpleasant odor, it is better to refuse to buy it. Of course, it is not possible to check this factor when purchasing a toy on the marketplace, but this can be done upon receipt of the goods.
