Roskachestvo: Fraudsters offer a subscription to an extended version of ChatGPT
[ad_1]
Telegram offers to buy the right to access an improved version of the ChatGPT neural network. Roskachestvo experts claim that these are the machinations of scammers.
The ChatGPT neural network, which was launched in November last year, instantly became popular all over the world. In Russia, she became widely known after a recent high-profile case when a student wrote a diploma with the help of ChatGPT and defended it.
Well, the modern Ostap Benders, who always “keep their hands on the pulse”, quickly got their bearings in the situation and began to offer Russian users a subscription to an “improved” version of ChatGPT with the ability to register without SMS and use VPN, unlimited access, no restrictions on the number of requests and advanced understanding of the Russian language by the neural network.
“After payment, the user will allegedly get access to the chat bot in Telegram. But after subscribing, scammers can give buyers a link to amateur free bots that have all the standard chat restrictions,” clarified in Roskachestvo.
The fact that such offers come from scammers can be understood only by the fact that no unlimited versions of ChatGPT simply exist.
“Whatever version of ChatGPT a user uses – a web or a bot in Telegram, with a code attached to it, he will still face restrictions on the number of requests,” explained Sergey Kuzmenko, senior specialist of the Center for Digital Expertise of Roskachestvo for testing digital products.
In general, the usual advice is vigilance and vigilance again. It is better to use the free official version, albeit with some restrictions, in order to give money and end up with a “pig in a poke”.
