They added that the study of the moon is important for mankind, the Earth satellite in the future may become a platform for the exploration of deep space.
The Indian spacecraft was launched to the moon on July 14, and on August 5 it entered the orbit of the satellite. The project cost was about $90 million. Thus, India became the fourth country (after the USSR, the USA and China) to land a device on the Moon, and the first country to do so at the South Pole of the Moon. Earlier, the Russian apparatus “Luna-25”, which was also supposed to land at the South Pole, crashed.
