Roscosmos announced the sending of Cheburashka to the ISS

Roscosmos announced that in September a Cheburashka plush toy will be sent to the International Space Station. The toy will have the task of performing the work of a weightlessness indicator – with its help, astronauts determine the moment when the influence of earth’s gravity stops. Cheburashka has already flown into space with this mission in 2016.
As stated in the state corporation, the plush Cheburashka will be handed over to the Soyuz MS-22 commander Sergei Prokopyev at the end of August.
It is reported that cosmonaut Dmitry Petelin and US astronaut Francisco Rubio will also go into orbit on the next flight.
