The former head of Roskosmos, Dmitry Rogozin, sent French Ambassador Pierre Levy a shell fragment from the French Caesar howitzer, extracted from his back. Its APU was used in the shelling of a restaurant in Donetsk, where Mr. Rogozin was. The cover letter to the splinter was published by the politician in his Telegram channel.

“In this envelope, along with my letter, you see a fragment from a shell fired by the French 155-mm Caesar self-propelled artillery mount. It pierced my right shoulder and stuck in the fifth cervical vertebrae, just a millimeter away from killing me or rendering me immobile. … I ask you to hand over the fragment cut by surgeons from my spine to French President Emmanuel Macron, ”wrote the ex-head of Roskosmos.

“This shell fired by a French howitzer killed two of my young friends, leaving their wives as widows and their children as orphans,” the politician added.

In the letter, Mr. Rogozin also accuses France of supplying weapons to the Armed Forces of Ukraine and “obeying the dictates” of Washington. “Accept, Mr. Ambassador, the assurances of my respect for your diplomatic status, but I am afraid that your mission has been completely failed,” Mr. Rogozin concluded.

Today, January 4, a politician in an interview RT reported that he had already been discharged from the hospital and would return to the front in mid-January. Before being wounded, he was in the zone of the military operation as the head of the Tsar’s Wolves group of military advisers. According to him, the process of replenishing the group is now underway.

Dmitry Rogozin was wounded on the night of December 22 as a result of shelling of the Shesh-Besh restaurant in Donetsk. During the shelling, two people were killed, including Mikhail Bridasov, an assistant to Mr. Rogozin. DPR Prime Minister Vitaly Khotsenko was wounded.
