In the triple jump, world finalist Jean-Marc Pontvianne qualified for the final scheduled for Wednesday with 16.96 m, imitated by Enzo Hodebar (16.70 m). The coach of the latter, Benjamin Compaoré, European champion in 2014, did not manage to get out of the qualifications (15.17 m).
