Google’s Alphabet division will need to remove all false data from online searches if users can prove that this information is false. This was reported in the Supreme Court of Europe, writes Reuters.

The case before the Court of Justice of the European Union involved two heads of an investment company group who asked Google to remove search results that linked their names to some articles critical of the group’s investment model.

In addition, the group leaders demanded that the company remove their thumbnails from online searches. In turn, Google rejected this statement, saying that they have no information whether these data are accurate.
