The American supplier of servers Dell Technologies completely stopped work in Russia, reports Reuters with reference to company representative Mike Simienas.

“In mid-August, we closed our offices and stopped all operations in Russia. Back in February, we made the decision not to sell, service or support products in Russia, Belarus, Donetsk and Luhansk regions of Ukraine, in addition to the already restricted Crimea, ”said Dell spokesman Mike Simienas.

The Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade said on Aug. 26 that many of Dell’s employees have already been offered new jobs after media reports surfaced that the company was leaving the country.

After the start of the military special operation in Ukraine SAP, Oracle, Dell and HP announced a stop of sales in Russia. IBM CEO Arvind Krishna announced a complete, albeit temporary, cessation of all IBM operations in Russia. IBM has stopped working with Russian companies anywhere in the world, although it is not laying off staff or suspending support for foreign businesses in Russia. Microsoft will continue to work in Russia with non-sanctioned clients, including schools and hospitals, said company president Brad Smith.
