According to the Center for Public Health and Medical Prevention of the Nenets District Hospital, the venue for the 10,000 Steps physical education campaign, which will be held in the region on October 2, has been moved to the ski track in the village of Iskateley. The gathering of participants will take place at the entrance to the territory of the track at the same time – 11.00.

Recall that on the same day, from 11.00 to 15.00, a mobile medical complex will operate on the square of the village of Iskateley, where residents of the village will be able to find out their health indicators – undergo an express blood test for glucose and total cholesterol, measure blood pressure.

The all-Russian health campaign “10,000 steps” is designed to involve the maximum number of citizens in maintaining a healthy lifestyle and increasing physical activity, the portal of state bodies of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug reports. Participants of the action will need to take 10,000 steps, which is about 6-8 kilometers, depending on the length of the step.

Such a load is optimal for any age and brings maximum health benefits, in particular, it trains blood vessels and the heart, normalizes blood pressure, strengthens joints and the spine, enriches blood with oxygen, helps to lose weight and cope with stress. The event will begin with a warm-up.
